Qingdao Shipu Maritime Service Co., Ltd., founded in 2006 as an independent legal entity, is a comprehensive marine service provider. Major services we provide include ship technical consultation, crew information & ship manning management and ship management, etc.
The predecessor of Shipu, Shanghai Hongyuan Shipping Company, was initially set up in Shanghai based on the cooperation with Hsin Chien Marine Company, who operates a large fleet of ocean-going bulk carriers. As the business had expanded rapidly since her establishment and in consideration of meeting the growing business demand, the company moved to Qingdao and was registered as Qingdao Shipu Marine Co., Ltd. In recent years, thanks to the support of Shandong Maritime Safety Administration, we have made significant business progress and built up a management team of experienced and devoted professionals, including captains and chief engineers. Also thanks to the cooperation with our cooperative ship management companies, we have formed our own system and have been making all the efforts to incorporate leading ship management concepts, methodology and experience into the system.
At present, Shipu is co-working with Hsin Chien Marine, who operates one of the largest fleet of bulk carriers in Taiwan. The fleet contains more than 30 vessels, of types including Small Handy, Handymax, Panamax and Capsize, with single DWT ranging from 27.904~179,850MT and average age under 10 years. In addition to that, we have currently set up long-term partnerships with Far East Marine Group, Tianjin Centrans Shipping Management company and Goldbeam Shipping Company and a couple of Handymax & Capsize vessels are soon to be launched.
